At J & A Young health and safety is seen as paramount importance and inline with our ISO accreditation and Management philosophy a strong emphasis is put on Health and safety matters within the company.

Health and Safety applies to all employees and also to visiting contractors to the company.

We will endeavour to create a culture on Health & Safety within the company this is encouraged by training programmes and proactive implementation of Health and Safety procedures.

Regular Management meeting are held to review Health and Safety issues and thorough risk assessments have been carried out on all operations within the company.

J & A Young always make sure adequate provision is made for all Health and Safety issues and that First Aid training is provided. NEBOSH training is also provided to senior Site Management enabling them to be fully knowledgeable on issues such as Health and safety law, risk assessment.

J & A Young regularly monitors it performance in relation to Health & Safety and is fully confident it can maintain its excellent Health and Safety record .
