Jayplas recycled plastic packaging products are made from UK recycled plastic pellets, produced within our own recycling facilities.

Jayplas recycled plastic packaging removes the need to use virgin/prime polymers in plastic packaging. There is no requirement to import packaging from outside the UK, so reducing the supply chain's carbon footprint and gives everyone in the process full traceability throughout the recycling and manufacturing process. This is a one-stop complete, circular manufacturing process.

200,000 sq. ft facility based in Worksop UK offers complete closed-loop recycling using recycled pellets from our flexible plastic recycling and reprocessing facilities.

Jayplas offer an extensive range of flexible recycled plastic packaging products designed to meet the requirements of customers from diverse industries, including retail, janitorial, healthcare, local authorities, industrial, and agricultural.

We work closely with them to design packaging to meet specific criteria: shape, size, thickness, handles, gusset, colour, printed or plain, seals and supply volumes.

Jayplas advanced machinery resources (including an internal logistics team and transport fleet), and manufacturing capacity mean we can offer a consistent and reliable supply chain with the flexibility to support our customers’ changing needs and delivery schedules.

Bags For Life

Jayplas range of bags for life is environmentally friendly and manufactured in the UK at Jayplas Worksop flexible packaging facility, made with up to 100% recycled plastic content supplied from Jayplas recycling facilities in the UK. Our co-extrusion process produces a bag with excellent strength, visual qualities and durability. Known as a ‘bag for life’ due to its ability to be used multiple times, our bags have a strong flexi loop handle and are fully recyclable after use; we never compromise on quality.

E-commerce Bags

Jayplas range of e-commerce bags is environmentally friendly and manufactured in the UK at Jayplas Worksop flexible packaging facility from 100% recycled LDPE supplied from our recycling facilities and fully recyclable after use. Our co-extrusion process produces a bag with excellent strength, visual qualities and durability, Water-repellent, lightweight and secure, we never compromise on quality.

Fully customisable in height, width, gusset size/type, micron and handle/seal closure type. (single or double seal). The double seal allows the bag to be reused for customer returns, a great environmental benefit. Available in various colours, opaque or clear, printing information and logo to meet the specifications of each customer’s needs.

Waste And Collection Refuse Sacks

Jayplas range of waste and collection sacks is environmentally friendly and manufactured in the UK at Jayplas Worksop flexible packaging facility, made from 100% recycled LDPE supplied from Jayplas recycling facilities in the UK. Our mono or co-extrusion process produces a bag with excellent strength, visual qualities and durability. We never compromise on quality.

Pallet Hoods Industrial Shroud Covers

Jayplas range of industrial quality shroud covers/pallet hoods is environmentally friendly and manufactured in the UK at Jayplas Worksop flexible packaging facility, from 100% recycled LDPE supplied from Jayplas recycling facilities. Our mono or co-extrusion process results in a product with excellent strength, visual qualities and durability. Fully recyclable after use – we never compromise on quality.

Shroud covers provide optimized load stability and protection of goods during transport/storage and can be tailored to match your specific pallet packaging setup.

Fully customisable in height, width, gusset size/type and micron. Various base colours, clear or opaque, can be produced on a roll or precut flat-packed to meet the customer’s needs.

Flexible Packaging On Rolls

Jayplas range of flexible packaging on rolls is environmentally friendly and manufactured in the UK at Jayplas Worksop flexible packaging facility, from 100% recycled LDPE supplied from Jayplas recycling facilities in the UK. Our mono or co-extrusion process results in a product with excellent strength, visual qualities and durability. Fully recyclable after use – we never compromise on quality.

Fully customisable in height, width, and micron. Printing from a single logo on a single colour base to a full photographic print. We can also change the specification to suit a customer’s current marketing campaign and/ or seasons.

The rolls work efficiently with many converting applications, including form fill and seal machines.

Patch Handle Carrier Bag

Jayplas range of patch handle carrier bags is environmentally friendly and manufactured in the UK at Jayplas Worksop flexible packaging facility, made from 100% recycled LDPE supplied from Jayplas recycling facilities in the UK. Our mono or co-extrusion process produces a bag with excellent strength and durability. We never compromise on quality.

Fully customisable in height, width, gusset size/type, micron. The patch handle can be reinforced (glued or heat-welded) to add strength and maximum durability. Printing, from a single logo on a single colour base to a full photographic print. We can also change the specification to suit a customer’s current marketing campaign and/ or seasons.

rPET food contact film

Since 2009, Jayplas PET sheet manufacturing facility, based in Corby, UK, has offered complete closed-loop recycling, using super cleaned recycled hot-washed PET flakes from our PET hot wash recycling and reprocessing facility in the same location to produce high-quality PET sheet suitable for use in food contact packaging.

Jayplas experienced, knowledgeable and dedicated team continue to innovate through our ongoing investment in research, development and technology to create a sustainable closed-loop recycling process for post-consumer PET bottles.

Innovative advances planned for 2024 will allow Jayplas to produce a food-grade rPET pellet, which can be used to produce food-grade PET bottles.

Product process overview

Jayplas rPET sheet is a sustainable and eco-friendly material made from recycled PET plastic bottles. Apart from the environmental benefits, our product is versatile and durable and can be recycled repeatedly to make new PET packaging products.

Jayplas has a fully automated process which includes:

Super-cleaning, using vacuum, heat and pressure, of post-consumer rPET bottle flakes
Cast co-extrusion of rPET, either a single layer rPET or the addition of layer(s) on an rPET base
Option to laminate a layer of PE film, depending on customer requirements
Placed onto reels - size and volume to customer requirements
All our rPET sheets are palletised, labelled, and plastic-wrapped before being transported to our customers.
